10 Things I Want to Say to My Man 10/14/14
When he shows up.....here are 10 things....I wanna say......to my man.....
1. I've been waiting for you. Dwelling on Proverbs 31:10-31. Preparing, praying, dedicating myself to God, and by His extension, to you.
2. I love you..we were made for each other, and now that we are here, I will spend my days and nights ensuring that you understand what that means.
3. I trust you to lead our home. To God, along our life's path, and into and out of any and every crisis, triumph, and circumstance life may toss our way.
4. I am here for you. I am your biggest supporter, your greatest cheerleader, the woman who is MOST PROUD of you, no matter the occasion. I am also the one who will gently point out mistakes and work with you to fix them.
5. Our children will learn to love each other. Any and all other children born to us will also know you. They will first know your voice while still in my womb, then they will put a face to that voice on their birthdays. Your not being there for these events and in our lives is unthinkable, unconscionable, and UNACCEPTABLE.
6. I love how you love God. I love how your love for me is borne out of your God-love. His being The Lord of your life makes loving, trusting, and submitting to you not only EASY, but a PLEASURE.
7. You matter to me. You are important, and your opinions matter most. I dress, wear my hair, move, laugh, love, and yes BREATHE the way I do because it pleases you, and THAT pleases me!
8. I have given you my greatest treasure-ME. I trust you will protect me with your honesty and fidelity, the same way I accept you and protect you with mine.
9. You are needed. Your role is VITAL to the success of our family. If I HAD to do it all, I would, but your presence and influence would be missed and wanted.
10. We are for keeps. This is it! There are no escape hatches in our marriage. This is our LAST marriage. This is our FOREVER marriage. There are no doors for exit.
